RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our client's team in the Mining Industry. As a Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems and instrumentation used in mining operations. Responsibilities
Design and develop control systems for mining processes and equipment.
Create and maintain technical documentation including specifications, drawings, and manuals.
Implement and test control systems to ensure proper functioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and instrumentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize control system performance and efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems and instrumentation.
Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.
Project Management qualification.
Minimum 10 years in a C&I Operational or C&I Project environment in the mining industry.
3-5 years' experience in Project Management.
5 years Managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of control system design and development principles.
Proficiency in using software tools for control system programming and simulation.
Experience with PLC programming and HMI/SCADA systems.
Understanding of mining processes and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
