CBRE Overview:
CBRE manages the maintenance of Data Centres and is committed to the provision of an
efficient and effective critical engineering maintenance service. The primary function is to ensure
100% uptime of engineering services to ensure there is zero impact to the client's business
operations.
Role Overview:
Accountable for the planning and delivery of all in-scope and all additional contracted work on site.
And the communication flow between all staff to ensure service delivery. All team and resourcing
activities are managed and HR close concerns in timely manner.
Key objectives of the role (Not exhaustive or necessarily in order of importance):
Accountable for all maintenance procedures, regular checks and routine inspections on equipment in conjunction with the maintenance team are completed and with accurate documented feedback.Accountable to ensure all Service reports are available submitted to the client as required accordingly to best practice without expectations. With visible cost management to show CBRE value engineeringAccountable for continuous operation of the installed system.Accountable for all activities performed on site are aligned to CBRE scope/MSA and are performed as required under best practice.Accountable for continuous improvement to enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipmentAccountable that the team have the support, training and instructions to follow all safety procedures.Accountable that Critical Spares stock is maintained.Accountable for the implementation of the ADC and CBRE site Health & Safety procedures & roles of workAccountable for the implementation to the contractor management process and All permits are signed on and out as per GMR 2.7Accountable for the PO process to be implemented and manage CBRE commercial exposure and Responsible for managing the debtorsAccountable for INC & RCA reports are issued on time.The successful candidate will have the following background: Minimum of 5 to7 years' experience in a related field at management level and engaging senior stakeholders.Management training CertificateRecognised ApprenticeshipHSE trainingManaging multiple functional teams within a data centre environmentExperience of safety documentation within the Data Centre. Role requirements:
The Data Centre sites operate on a 24/7 basis; as such incumbents may be required to respond operational requirements in line with functional responsibilities. Furthermore, due to the nature of the position and operational requirements of the company incumbents will be required to working according to a Shift Roster, details of which will be communicated by the Management Team.
