A well established organization is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join the ContinuousImprovement department.
This position is based in Pietermaritzburg.
Responsibilities: Drive Continuous Improvement in a lean manufacturing area.Facilitate the deployment of Visual management methodologies in the areas.Lead Lean six sigma Projects.Reduce wastage through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.Facilitate the use of the following Services where required:- Time Studies- Multi-moment Analysis- Waste Walks- Value stream Mapping- Process MappingLead and facilitate the effective use of Statistical Process Control and other statistical methods in the area toimprove Process ControlLead and Facilitate Process Control System in the areas to improve quality.
Requirements:A National Diploma/BTech or Degree in Industrial EngineeringKnowledge of Lean manufacturing would be an advantage.Preferable 4 Years working experience.Competent in MS office programs.Good conflict managements skills.Self-motivated with Good interpersonal and communication skills.Service driven, innovative, reliable, assertive and strong customer focus.Able to work under pressure.Sound understanding of engineering principles and processes.
