Residing in Port Elizabeth/ Gqeberha
Must have a detailed understanding of accounting, tax, management accounting, and auditing
Own vehicle is a requirement

Job Duties

This position will suit someone who has realised that sitting behind a desk is not for them. They have a naturally enthusiastic personality and are keen to see and understand why manufacturing entities exist and what they are involved in doing.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

Understand Client Needs: Meet with clients to understand their challenges, goals, and needs.
Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients to build trust and ensure ongoing collaboration.
Client Communication: Regularly update clients on project progress, challenges, and outcomes through meetings, reports, and presentations.

2.Research and Analysis:

Data Collection: Gather relevant data, whether through client-provided information, market research, or industry analysis.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and issues relevant to the client's goals.
Benchmarking: Compare the clients performance against industry standards or competitors to provide insights.

3.Problem Solving and Strategy Development:

Problem Identification: Identify key problems or areas for improvement within the clients organization or strategy.
Solution Design: Develop strategic recommendations or action plans tailored to the clients specific challenges.
Innovation: Propose innovative ideas or solutions to help clients gain a competitive edge or solve complex issues.

4.Project Management:

Project Planning: Define the scope, timeline, and resources required for consulting projects.
Task Management: Coordinate tasks, assign responsibilities, and ensure that project milestones are met.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets to ensure that costs remain within agreed-upon limits.

5.Implementation Support:

Guidance and Oversight: Provide support during the implementation of proposed strategies or solutions, ensuring that they are executed effectively.
Training: Offer training or workshops to help client teams adopt new processes, tools, or strategies.
Troubleshooting: Assist in addressing any challenges or obstacles that arise during implementation.

6.Performance Measurement and Reporting:

Monitor Outcomes: Track the performance and outcomes of implemented strategies or solutions.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports that outline the results of the consulting engagement, including successes, areas for improvement, and future recommendations.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients to assess the effectiveness of the consulting services and identify areas for improvement.

7.Business Development (for Independent or Firm-Based Consultants):

Networking: Engage in networking activities to build connections and generate leads for future consulting opportunities.
Proposal Writing: Develop proposals or pitches to secure new consulting projects.
Market Analysis: Continuously analyze the market to identify new opportunities for consulting services or to anticipate client needs.

8.Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure Compliance: Make sure that all recommendations and actions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with the clients current strategies or proposed changes, and develop mitigation plans.

9.Continuous Learning and Development:

Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
Skill Development: Continuously improve consulting skills and knowledge through training, certifications, or professional development.

10.Advisory Role:

Expert Advice: Serve as an expert advisor to clients, providing insights and guidance based on extensive experience and knowledge.
Strategic Partner: Act as a strategic partner to clients, helping them navigate complex decisions and long-term planning.

Work hours
Monday to Friday - 8:00 to 16:30. with an Hour Lunch

Salary

R20 000 to R25 000
Commission structure
