Job SummaryAn exciting opportunity exists for a Client Service Consultant within the CIB Electronic Banking Services team. In this role, you will be responding to client requests telephonically and electronically. You will be the point of contact for dealing with a range of requests for Wholesale Operations, maintaining and improving a high level of client satisfaction. Responding to transaction queries, technical support, trend analysis, and investigations.
Key AccountabilitiesAct and respond as the first point of contact for transactional and administrative banking issues to external/internal clients.Co-ordinate resolution of client queries requiring services provided from other areas of the Group where appropriate and monitor outcomes.Adhere to all processes in Wholesale Operations and identify opportunities to improve Client Servicing processes.Ensure that all activities performed in providing Client Services comply with Absa's risk and compliance policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements.Ensure that the quality and accurate preparation of the cost recovery journals are adhered to.Work closely with other members of the Servicing Unit to deliver outstanding performance.Take responsibility for routine duties on a regular basis with other members of the team.Attend team meetings and contribute fully, including suggestions for ways of improving customer service.Maintain and continuously look for opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge base.Remain up-to-date with industrial and sector-related knowledge and information.Education and Experience RequiredNQF Level 4: Grade 12Minimum 2 years General Banking experience2 years experience in a Customer Service RoleEducationHigher Certificate (Required)
