Full job descriptionSITE AGENT Job Summary: The Site Agent is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects on-site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. The Site Agent oversees daily operations, monitors progress, enforces safety regulations, and resolves any issues that arise during construction. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Monitor project progress and quality, implementing corrective actions as needed to stay on schedule.Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.Prepare reports on project progress, budgets, and any issues that may impact project timelines.Manage site personnel, including assigning tasks and ensuring effective team collaboration.Resolve conflicts and issues on-site, acting as the primary point of contact for all construction-related matters.Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.5-7 years of experience in construction management or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.Experience in supervising construction teams and coordinating multiple contractors and trades.Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Job Type: Full-time
