Location: Cape Town, South Africa Position Type: Permanent Working Mode: Hybrid Overview: Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our clients team in Cape Town.
The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the management of large-scale marine infrastructure projects, specifically in port development and expansion.
This includes dredging, reclamation, quay wall construction, terminal yards, and buildings.
Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil, Port, Coastal Engineering, or related fields Minimum 10 years of general working experience, including at least 5 years managing port construction projects Professional registration as a PrEng (advantageous) Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Project) Proven track record in successfully delivering port projects Fluent in English Specific Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing large marine infrastructure projects (above EUR 15m equivalent), with a preference for port development, maritime works (including dredging and reclamation), and transport logistic platforms (preferably in ports) Experience with FIDIC General Conditions of Contract Knowledge of port expansion projects, including dredging, reclamation, quay wall and apron construction, terminal yards, and buildings Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the management of various FIDIC construction contracts (note: not responsible for contract administration) Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, policies, and specifications throughout the project Manage project execution to meet performance standards and timelines Salary : Negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
