A company in Cape Town is hiring a Construction Project Manager.Overview:The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the the successful implementation of various projectsThe position requires an experienced candidate with full understanding of all aspects of the built environment.Responsibilities:Manage projects in line with international best practicePlan projects in terms of scope; schedule & costsManage the execution of projects within agreed scope, cost and schedule constraintsImplement project quality systemManage project resourcesAppoint, lead & coordinate professional teams to achieve project objectivesLead & supervise construction contractsManage project communication, including client, user and stakeholdersManage project risksManage project procurementConduct technical and contract meetingsPrepare fee proposals & bidsConstruction contract administrationExperience Required:5 years Construction Project Management experience in Consulting; built environmentQualifications:BSc Construction Studies / Construction Management / Quantity SurveyingBSc Honors in Construction Management (advantageous)PMP / Pr.CPM (advantageous)Skills Required:Working knowledge of JBCC; FIDIC; NEC & GCCMS OfficeMS ProjectsPMBOAbout the candidate:Good understanding of building construction projectsGood communicationAbility to manage multiple projectsTeam leaderAbility to operate independentlySalary:Market RelatedPlease note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
