Construction Manager

A well-established Construction company, based in Mossel Bay, is looking for a Construction Manager to join their team on a contract-basis.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning: Develop detailed construction plans, schedules, and work programs.Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.Budget Management: Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.Quality Control: Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.Safety Management: Implement and monitor health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment.Client Liaison: Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and present them to senior management or clients.Qualifications:Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in managing construction projects.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.Skills:Excellent problem-solving abilities.Strong understanding of construction methods and technologies.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction management role.Experience within building industrySalary: R20k - R25k basicPlease note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
