Construction Manager

A well-established Construction company, based in Mossel Bay, is looking for a Construction Manager to join their team on a contract-basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:Develop detailed construction plans, schedules, and work programs.
Team Management:Oversee and coordinate the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Budget Management:Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
Quality Control:Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
Safety Management:Implement and monitor health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
Client Liaison:Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
Problem-Solving:Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
Reporting:Prepare regular progress reports and present them to senior management or clients.

Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in managing construction projects.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.

Skills:

Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of construction methods and technologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction management role.
Experience within building industry

Salary:
R20k - R25k basic
