Construction Manager

This position assumes the responsibility to supervise workers, materials, cleanup, and time management of the building and/or construction site.
Manage and run residential and commercial construction sites.
Candidate must be hands-on with a minimum of 5 years' experience in construction, alterations, and general construction work from setting out to finishes.
The candidate must have experience in managing materials, staff, labourers, and sub-contractors on several sites concurrently as well as dealing professionally with clients.
Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans
Producing schedules and monitoring attendance of crew
Allocating general and daily responsibilities
Supervising and training workers and tradespeople
Ensuring manpower and resources are adequate
Guaranteeing all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervising the use of machinery and equipment
Monitoring expenditure and ensuring it remains within budget
Resolving problems when they arise
Reporting on progress to business owner

Requirements and Skills

Proven experience as construction foreman
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems
Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Aptitude in math
Problem-solving abilities
Good physical condition and stamina
High school diploma

Experience

Minimum 5 years related experience

Must have a valid driver's license and PDP.
