An engineering consulting firm specializing in the design of civil, structural and environmental projects across Africa is looking for a professional to join their team!Requirements:Industry Relevant Tertiary Qualification and Recognized certification/accreditation10 years' experienceResponsibilities:Taking projects from initiation to planning, executing, monitoring, control and closingMonitoring, controlling and ensuring compliance of all deliverables against quality/H&S, progress and budget requirementsAssisting Project Manager with updating of monthly budgets and weekly cash flow and schedulesReviewing and assisting Project Manager with appointment of main contractors and subcontractorsEnsuring development agreements are completed before project commencementIdentifying any products, systems and/or contractors to Project Manager for inclusion or implementation into projectsReviewing contractors payment certificates for approval and forecasting of expenditure as per project cash flow/budgetEnsuring pre-disbursements are identified and funds are available prior to project commencementManaging all claims on contractual issuesEnsuring project costs are contained by value engineeringEnsuring drawings are compliant with company regulations for submission to Project ManagerEnsuring all contract documentation is complete prior to signingEnsuring all local authority issues are resolved and project complies with regulations
