We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Health & Safety Officer – SACPCMP.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing contractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining excellent communication on various sites.
Qualifications Requirements: Self-Driven: Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple sites.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
Computer Proficiency: Competent in using standard office software and tools.
SACPCMP Registration: Valid SACPCMP CHSO (Construction Health and Safety Officer) registration is a must.
Cape Town Based: Must be located in Cape Town.
Transport: Own reliable transport is essential for site visits.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Manage contractors on sites where Client is appointed.
Conduct weekly site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Perform safety audits on sub-contractors to verify compliance.
Attend and participate in monthly audits and site meetings as required.
