Job Description: Confectioner (Retail)We are looking for a skilled and creative Confectioner to join our retail team.
As a Confectioner, you will be responsible for crafting and presenting high-quality sweets, chocolates, and other confections that delight our customers.Key Responsibilities:Production of Confections: Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of sweets, chocolates, and other confectionery products following store recipes and standards.Display & Presentation: Create visually appealing displays of confectionery items, ensuring that the products are attractively arranged for customers.Quality Control: Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished products, ensuring consistency and excellence in every item.Inventory Management: Assist in tracking ingredient levels and placing orders to ensure adequate stock for daily production.Customer Service: Interact with customers, offer recommendations, and provide information about different confectionery items.Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area, following all hygiene and food safety regulations.Qualifications:Previous experience in confectionery or baking is preferred.Attention to detail and creativity in decorating and presenting sweets.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.Strong communication and customer service skills.
