What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and/or skillsets:
An appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institutionRelevant experience in teaching learners in this phaseCurrent SACE registrationA clear criminal recordThe responsibilities are: Plan, control, record and report on assessmentsAttend meetings, forums, workshops for the grades/phase as requiredCreate an educational atmosphere in the classroomTake responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the classWork closely with the teachers in the grades/phase to ensure the effective running of the grades/phaseManage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the classManage, plan, assist and promote activities (sport and culture) within the schoolManage, plan, assist and promote discipline within the grades/phaseAssist with sport and other admin duties as and when the need arisesPersonal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the schoolThe successful candidate will start on 01 January 2024.
