Compliance Officer

Position: Compliance OfficerLocation: Claremont offices, Cape Town Type: Full-timeOur client is a leading consulting firm specialising in strategic compliance, legal, and risk management. They pride themselves on thinking differently to empower clients for long-term success in a dynamic and evolving business environment. Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.Ensure all business operations comply with legal regulations and internal policies.Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.Manage the company's compliance program, including providing training to staff on relevant regulations.Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, ensuring the business remains compliant.Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.Handle compliance-related investigations and follow through on corrective actions.Liaise with external regulators, legal counsel, and internal departments to address compliance issues.Requirements:Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role within legal, risk, or regulatory environments.Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Position Type: Full time permanent position based in office.Location: Claremont, Cape Town.Salary offered: R25 000-R30 000 CTC per month, depending on experience. Please apply online and if you are a suitable candidate, ARVO recruiters will be in contact.Please consider your application unsuccessful if you are not contacted by ARVO recruiters within 4 weeks of applying.
