Compliance Manager- Brits

Our client based in Brits, a stone manufacturing company, is looking for a Compliance Manager responsible for group health & safety and compliance management. The respective candidate should be highly organised, administrative, professional, and attentive to detail.
Minimum Academic & Experience required for this position:
Relevant National Diploma or B Tech Degree in Safety Management / Risk Management or relevant equivalent qualification.
SAMTRAC and COMSOC 2 Certificates will be advantageous.
Accredited with HPCSA.
NEBOSH or equivalent will be an advantage.
3 - 5 Years' post qualification experience in Health and Safety Management, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, mining, or commercial services environment.
3 – 5 Years ISO / Management Systems auditing experience.
Advanced in MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel - advanced, PowerPoint, Word).
Understanding of the respective financial policies, procedures, and processes.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 (OHSA) (as amended) and the responsibilities of management in terms of the Act.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Mines Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996) and its application.
Demonstrate an understanding of ISO 14001, 9001 and 45001 standards.
Minimum of 5 years management experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
General:
Applicant should be located in Brits / SA Citizen with a valid SA code 08 driver licence and own transport.
