What will you do?
To develop the current high standard of service to Niche intermediaries further. This is essentially a client service role that requires strong relationship building and team management skills.
Key Outcomes
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Niche Manager:

Leadership

Influencing team members to achieve Client Service's strategic objectives
Understanding the Glacier Client Services strategy and its impact on the team
Growing and implementing the Glacier vision for Niche


Administration & Communication

Resolution & guidelines for technical / complex enquiries
Management of Niche workflow and efficiencies
Liaison role between Niche, Glacier Client Services and Distribution teams


Decision Making

Prioritisation / delegation of work


Managerial Functions

Performance Management
Recruitment
General people management


Coaching & Training

Ongoing Coaching & identification of training and development needs



Qualifications and Experience

Matric / Grade 12
Relevant financial qualification and completion of applicable regulatory exams
3 – 5 years Glacier experience with exceptional Glacier product and process knowledge.
Proven management experience will be an advantage.
Knowledge of the Life and Life Investment industry will be to your advantage.
The ability to travel independently

Diploma or Grade 12 with 6 to 8 years related experience.
