About the job Communication and Change SpecialistCommunication and Change Specialist - 12 MonthContractMatric (Grade 12)Bachelor's degree in Communications or equivalent Diploma, IT, BusinessAdministration, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in communication and change management,preferably in an IT environment.Strong understanding of IT systems, processes, and project management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translatetechnical information into user-friendly content.Proven experience in leading change management initiatives and engagingstakeholders.Certifications in change management or communications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.Responsibilities:Change Management:Develop and implement change management strategies for IT.Analyze the impact of changes on stakeholders and create customizedchange plans.Guide the organization through IT transitions, ensuring smoothadoption of new initiatives.Monitor change initiatives to ensure they meet objectives and deliverdesired outcomes.Design and execute communication plans to effectively convey ITchanges but also standard templates to various audiences.Develop engaging and clear content for communication channels.Ensure consistent and coherent messaging across all ITcommunications.Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders tosupport change initiatives.Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback into communication andchange management strategies.Training and Support:Identify and address training needs related to IT changes.Develop and deliver training programs to help users adapt to newprocesses.Provide ongoing support and resources to users during and after theimplementation of changes.Work with project teams to integrate communication and changemanagement plans into overall project timelines.Ensure that communication and change management activities arealigned with project goals and delivered on time.Report on the progress of change initiatives and communicate anyadjustments needed to stakeholders.
