Job Specification (not totally inclusive) Ensuring that all proposed contracts comply with the company's contract policy; Verify that contracts for New Equipment and Rebuilds are valid and properly adhered to, where applicable; Ensuring that the approval process for any changes in pricing on contracts, proposals, and tenders is robust and involves the necessary level of authorization; Ensuring that all quotations, proposals, and tenders are produced to a high professional standard and aid the business in promoting sales; Creating a relationship and partnership between the Commercial Department and the Project Department to make it function smoothly; Completing accurate sales trend analysis and communicate monthly. Minimum Skills Required Degree in related field, plus 5 years of related experience is essential; Experience in commercial aspects of mining equipment and parts will be an advantage; Must have a high level of numeracy and analysis (also able to manipulate spreadsheets); Comprehensive understanding of profit/loss and pricing metrics; Knowledge of SAP MRP module is essential; Computer literate in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel); Valid driver's license and own transport. Behavioural Competencies Required Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships; A positive approach to problem solving, decision making, and dealing with a wide range of people including senior stakeholders; Must demonstrate high-end analytical and numeric skills; Ability to extract, organize, and evaluate data in order to provide statistical reports on bid activity and relative success.
