Reporting to the Supply Chain Executive, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive supply chain planning, procurement, risk management, and leadership initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Supply Chain Planning & Strategy:Manage working capital investment in stock, including slow-moving and dead stock.Plan finished goods with relevant teams to prevent stock outs and short supplies.Efficiently manage raw material inventory to align with Just-in-Time principles.Drive continuous improvements to eliminate waste and streamline processes.Procurement and Vendor Management:Conduct supplier assessments to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements.Negotiate contracts, SLAs, MOUs, and leases with suppliers.Lead cost-saving projects across the supply chain.Identify and mitigate risks in purchasing and production planning.Diversify suppliers to reduce dependency on single sources.Ensure adherence to ISO 9001/FSSC22000 supply chain procedures.Data Analysis:Identify patterns and trends to optimize supply chain processes.Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive improvements.Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies in supply chain management.Leadership & Training:Lead cross-functional teams and projects, driving process improvements and change management.Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.Develop and deliver training material for relevant business areas.Qualifications and Experience:CIMA qualification or BCom Honours Degree in Finance or Supply Chain Management.At least 4-5 years' experience in a commercial supply chain role, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.Proficiency with SAP is advantageous.Strong negotiation, planning, and organizing skills.Ability to influence others and solve problems effectively.Enthusiastic, positive, and self-energized.Apply now to become a part of a dedicated and innovative team.An easy way to apply for this job.
