Commercial Manager required for a reputable company based in East London.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Finance / Business Management or related field.
FMCG Industry experience is essential both within retail and factory environment.
Must have 5 to 10 years' experience in a senior management role.
Understanding of Supply Chain / Imports / Exports.
Understanding of HACCP and relevant certification.
Must have excellent financial and business acumen.
Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset.
Experience working with target metrics.
Strong attention to detail, time management, leadership and organizational skills.
Understanding of food manufacturing or production management processes would be advantageous.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to maximize revenue, profitability, market share and sustainable growth opportunities.
Create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities, including expansion, business development, and market research analysis.
Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics.
Set financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
Performance reporting and financial and budgeting processes.
Analyse trends and market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Provide strategic advice to upper management.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Coordinate commercial activities between various departments, including sales, marketing and customer service.
