About the Role:As a Commercial Controller your main responsibility is to provide the right information to the decision makers and assure the governance and guidance. The controller will be interacting with various departments and the HQ to provide timely analysis on business and operative performances and forecast the upcoming results. It's a competitive and challenging role in a dynamic environment. The Commercial Controller will report to the CFO and will support the finance, commercial & operative team in their daily activities.
Main Responsibilities:Reporting and Analysis of Financial Statements:Budget, Forecasts and institutional scenarios Process;Analysis of Monthly Actual results vs objectives;Understanding and explaining key deviations;Support/Interact cross functionally to have the real figures with the right explanation;Interact with Area (Marketing, Sales, Supply chain...) to provide weekly, monthly and YTD reporting of top lines and other commercial KPIs;Gap analysis;Analyze COGS/commercial costs/ stock situation.Commercial Controlling:Price Structure by SKU preparation and management, running periodic analysis to verify estimations vs actual value chain;Control of financial reporting, assuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results;Product costing.Category profitability:Customer/ Brand / Category Profitability Analysis;SKU Gross Margin Analysis;Support marketing team for new product launches.Sales Analysis and forecast:Prepare and consolidate region Monthly Sales Estimate each week (Volume & Gross Sales / Net Sales);Rolling forecast by brand / category / Customer.Monthly preparation for Management Meetings:Prepare and consolidate Estimate Full Year/Session/Month Net Sales, RON, GAP analysis and Risk and Opportunities and Business performance with cluster analysis on a monthly basis;Consolidate & prepare presentations for Top Management.Area Discretionary costs and A&P Analysis:Budget/Forecasts;Analysis of Monthly Actual results vs objectives.Ad-hoc Analysis and other projects.Who we are looking for:University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics; Previous experience of at least 5 years in controlling, or reporting; Ability to gain an understanding of business processes and to identify risks/opportunities; Knowledge of MS Office, Essbase, as well as knowledge of SAP is desirable, the knowledge of HFM is a plus; Strength in technical skills, data management and reporting software, with the ability to develop tools for efficient working; Flexibility, analytical and project management skills, organizational skills and management of priorities and deadlines; Self-motivated, Goal-oriented, problem-solving skills and teamwork; Experience gained in FMCG industry.
