Commercial And Marketing Manager

This role spans across strategic and operational responsibilities, blending commercial insight with marketing expertise to drive expansion across the market, managing key distribution processes, optimising stock management and overseeing all marketing initiatives in the region.Minimum requirements:Proven experience in a senior commercial or managerial role, preferably in the Solar industry.Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of pricing, distribution, and market strategies.Experience in implementing creative marketing strategies.Highly organised and structured.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Highly adaptable to change.Valid driver's license and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across South Africa and Africa.Develop the marketing plan for South Africa including the creation of comprehensive marketing plans, market research, and the planning & rollout of marketing campaigns across various platforms.Undertake market analysis to better understand the market, competitor activities, and market trends.Identify new revenue opportunities and drive sales initiatives in order to meet and exceed sales targets, identifying new customers in new markets that require advanced renewable power solutions.Strategically deepen market presence, particularly within existing sectors such as house building, to enhance product demand through specifications or approvals.Foster current relationships with key accounts and contribute to establishing national partnerships.Manage the sales team including training, objective setting, and performance management.Report on sales performance and the results of marketing initiatives using key performance indicators such as customer acquisition costs and conversion rates.Work closely with stakeholders from Research and Development, Technical, Creative Services, and the broader sales team to develop effective go-to-market strategies.CRM Management: Effectively utilise CRM tools to track customer interactions, quotes, leads, and other critical data.Establish best-in-class processes to drive efficiencies and improve team performance, sharing best practices across the wider Sunsynk group.
