Code 10 Driver (George, Western Cape) Permanent

Our client is looking for a driver at their warehouse in George to safely transport company products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
POSITION: Permanent
COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Grade 10 or similar qualification. A valid drivers licence (Code 10 or 14) and a valid PDP. A minimum of 2 - 3 years experience as a driver. Clear criminal record No endorcements on licence Fluent Afrikaans speaking, reading and writing skills - mandatory (do not apply if you do not meet this language job requirement) ROLE:
Assisting with the loading and offloading of products, and materials. Transport company products and materials to and from specified locations in a safe and timely manner. Following best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading the vehicle. Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries. Performing basic truck maintenance. Completing daily routine checks and logbook. Loading and unloading cargo. Tracking shipments and deliveries.
