CNC Setter – Join a Leader in Precision and InnovationAre you a precision-focused CNC Setter with a passion for quality and innovation? Our client, a renowned Machine Tool company, is at the forefront of CNC tooling, delivering exceptional products and services to their high-volume, precision engineering clients. We are seeking a qualified Tradesman, a highly skilled and well-experienced CNC Setter to join their dynamic team (based at one of their Key Clients).About the Role: As a CNC Setter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of precision and quality that our client is known for. You will work on the shop floor, setting up and operating CNC machines, while also advising and supporting other setters and operators in the correct use of their cutting tools.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines (milling and turning) with precision and efficiency.Read and interpret complex technical drawings to ensure accurate machine setup.Edit and troubleshoot Fanuc controls to optimize machine performance.Maintain high standards of quality and precision in all machining operations.Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines to ensure smooth operation.Collaborate with team members to enhance production processes and resolve technical issues.Working HoursMonday - Thursday (07:00 - 16:00)Friday (07:00 - 13:00)Occasional overtime in the week and on Saturdays (paid).Requirements Qualifications / ExperienceMatric with at least 5-10 years experience Setting CNC milling and turning machines, in a high volume manufacturing environment (not a Tool room or Jobbing environment).Must be able to read technical drawings and be proficient in editing programs (Fanuc / G-Codes).A Qualified Tradesman (Fitter & Turner / Toolmaker) would be a strong advantage in your application.We'll Also Be Looking ForAbility to work in a high volume, pressurised environment (with up to 8 set ups in a day).Excellent Communication Skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Benefits What On OfferA highly competitive salary and benefits package, reflective of experience and qualifications.Access to a fuel card and overtime opportunities.An engaging and supportive work environment within a dedicated team.Continuous learning and professional development opportunities to advance your career.Desired SkillsCNCSetterMechanicalComponentsMiningTurningTradeDesired Qualification LevelGrade 12 / MatricAbout The EmployerThis Job Opportunity is advertised by Square 1 Recruitment, we are a Permanent Placement Agency.
