Job Overview:
The Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that align with the organization's business needs. This role involves working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to develop cloud strategies, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a strong background in IT infrastructure and architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, and highly available based on industry best practices.
Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance and security.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into cloud solutions that meet their requirements.
Lead the migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Optimize cloud solutions for performance and cost-efficiency, including capacity planning, load balancing, and scaling.
Conduct regular assessments of cloud solutions to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development and operations teams on cloud best practices.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
Document cloud architecture and design decisions, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design.
Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and identity management.
Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
