Think you have what it takes to smash our client's sales targets out of the park?Our client, an innovative provider of digital solutions across Africa, is looking for an enthusiastic and determined Client Engagement Officer to join their new start-up venture.Largely a client-facing role, our ideal candidate is comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels. From support staff to C-suite executives, you have a proven track record of delivering strategic solutions to both internal business and client needs. You have tracked these engagements with various CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, and Hubspot.This is an exciting opportunity for a fiery professional who is interested in travelling across South Africa! Apply now!Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in a commerce or IT-related fieldExperience Requirements3+ years of experience in the sale of ICT solutionsImpressive account management experienceProven track record of timely delivery of client-focused solutionsResponsibilitiesAddress customer inquiries and requests, ensuring their needs are metMonitor accounts to ensure services are within budget and meet customer requirementsCollaborate with team members regularly to discuss progress and improve business practicesCreate progress reports for clients and senior leadersIdentify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities, and communicate these to the sales teamEnsure timely and successful delivery of solutions based on customer needs and objectivesCommunicate monthly/quarterly initiative progress to stakeholdersDevelop new business with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales targetsForecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecastsPrepare account status reportsEnsure channels adhere to the sales engagement modelSupport Finance and Commercial units to improve margins through pricing strategiesOversee the development of contracts and SLAs with all channelsFacilitate approvals and ensure compliance with internal controlsAlign product offerings with contractual obligationsSkillsFirst and foremost an ICT sales wizardMind-bending Microsoft Suite proficiencyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA relationship-builder with stellar stakeholder engagement skillsTeam player with a great attitudeStrong presentation skillsDriver's licence and own vehicle
