North West: Greater Manchester, Lancashire.Job ReferenceDFP52455Job ProfileOne of the UK's leading Loss Adjusters is now looking for an experienced Property Claims Handler to support the Claims Management Team in Manchester.The role will be office-based, but a hybrid working arrangement can be offered after completion of training to enable you to work from home 2 days a week.This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking for personal development who may aspire to becoming a Loss Adjuster in the future, or a move into a more technical claims role.Key Responsibilities:Recording new property losses from policyholders and brokers and providing advice on policy cover, claim process, and loss mitigation.To handle property claims, typically up to £50,000 in value, on a cradle to grave basis including negotiation, settlement, and repudiations.Producing to a high standard preliminary, interim, and final reports for submission to insurers.Obtaining policy information from cover holders and checking policy cover.Appointing and managing loss adjusters and suppliers.Previous experience in PROPERTY claims handling and coming from an Insurance or Loss Adjusting background, ideally cradle to grave, with excellent customer service skills.Ideally CII qualified or willing to work towards this.The ability to prioritise claims and your own workload.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive basic salary up to £33,000Company Contributory PensionLife assurance– x4 annual basic salary25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and purchase/buy back schemeVarious discounts on lifestyle and entertainmentThank you for your application.
