Key Responsibilities Claims System Administration Policy amendments Risk management Diary Business Acumen-Keeping in contact with our service providers to ensure that you are kept abreast of any changes .Keeping up to date with relevant legislation that could have an effect on the processing of new business or servicing of policies/claims Record Maintenance Personal Attributes Presentable and professional appearance Ability to function in multi-task environment Ability to prioritise Able to handle pressure Achievement driven Client focused Excellent communication skills Patience Positive attitude Proactive Punctual Reliable Respectful to colleagues Team spirited Well organised Qualifications FAIS qualification Regulatory Exams: RE5 CPD Points relevant to the category the Ranger is registered for Experience PC Skills (MS Office and Excel) Advanced Relevant Claims System (Cardinal 360/CIMS) Advanced claims administration Knowledge of insurance practices, markets and competitors Minimum of 5 year claims experience Binder experience CIMS experience Skills Ability to solve problems Excellent written spoken communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Good understanding of compliance issues Key Performance Measures Customer Focus (including Client feedback) Number of claims settled Speed of claim settlement Compliance Accuracy of processing and following set procedures in accordance with all prescribed mandates Product knowledge Functional and technical Ability Quality of work Utilise the system to its fullest (including sms and email facilities) Telephonic and file spot audits Accuracy and attention to detail in all instances
