Specializing in large-scale solar projects, the company is committed to aligning with environmental and sustainability goals.Job Summary:The Civil Site Manager will oversee and manage all civil activities on-site to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires coordination with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure the smooth execution of solar power plant projects and other related infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision and Management:Manage and supervise civil construction activities, including excavation, concrete works, foundation works, site grading, and roadworks.Monitor labor, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient site utilization.Ensure adherence to design specifications, engineering standards, and project plans.Project Coordination:Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve civil-related issues.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel for seamless workflow.Schedule and lead regular site meetings to track progress and address issues.Quality Assurance:Ensure work quality meets industry standards and client specifications.Conduct required inspections and document QA/QC activities.Identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance:Enforce on-site safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.Investigate and report incidents, implementing preventive measures when necessary.Project Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of site activities, labor, materials, and equipment usage.Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Project Director.Document project milestones and maintain records for audits.Budget and Schedule Management:Monitor project costs to ensure civil activities remain within budget.Track and manage project schedules, adjusting resources and timelines as needed.Identify potential delays and implement strategies to mitigate them.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in site management, ideally within the renewable energy or solar EPC industry.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management.HSE Knowledge: Familiarity with HSE regulations and best practices for construction.Software: Proficient in project management tools and MS Office Suite.Other: Valid driver's license; willingness to travel as required.Preferred Qualifications:PMP or relevant project management certification.Experience managing large-scale solar projects.Familiarity with local building codes and standards.Desired Skills:Site managementHSE RegulationsDesired Work Experience:5 to 10 yearsDesired Qualification Level:Degree
