Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:Oversee and manage a team of 6 Junior Civil Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring project deadlines are met.
Design & Drawing:Lead the design and drawing process for Roads and Water projects, ensuring all designs are compliant with industry standards and client specifications.
Report Writing:Prepare, review, and finalize technical reports, ensuring they are clear, concise, and informative for clients and stakeholders.
Project Management:Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects, from initial planning stages through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Client Liaison:Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:Ensure all engineering work is of high quality, adhering to safety standards, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree would be an advantage.
Experience:5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering, with a strong focus on Roads and Water projects.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in design and drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). Strong report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. In-depth knowledge of Roads and Water engineering principles and practices.
Leadership:Previous experience in a senior role, with proven ability to manage a team of engineers.
Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Certifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
