Job OverviewA globally active multidisciplinary engineering firm that offers solutions for the mineral processing & water sectors has a vacancy for a Civil Designer based in Gauteng. Relevant N6 or Engineering qualification from an accredited institution is required.Minimum Requirements:A minimum of 7 years experience as a Designer in metallurgical/Industrial plant design.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.Must own a vehicle and have a valid driver's license.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.The position is based in Sandton, Gauteng.Duties & ResponsibilitiesGenerate BOM components and scope of work documents.Produce detailed drawings from set out as per drawing office standards.Produce as-built drawings.Produce material take-off/Bill of Quantities.Understand and apply relevant industry standards.Attend site visits.Desired Experience & QualificationProficient in AutoDesk, Recap, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Revit, and Navis.Self-motivated, energetic, positive, and enthusiastic individual who can effectively meet deadlines.Experience in metallurgical (process) plant layouts & designs, generation of BOM components.Ability to effectively communicate with customers regarding technical information.Excellent communication, people, and conflict management skills.Computer literate in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).Package & RemunerationMarket-related TCTC.
