About the jobLe Wagon is the World's Leading Coding School offering Web Development and Data Science Bootcamps in a Full Time (9 weeks) and Part Time (24 weeks) format. Most importantly, Le Wagon is a community of 20,000+ graduates from all walks of life, including a lot of entrepreneurs who created 180+ tech startups and raised $200M+ globally.We are looking for a driven and hands-on City Manager who will join the South African team to nurture and grow the campus.As City Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of all campus and business activities. Your primary focus will be on administrative excellence, strategic planning, and efficient execution of business objectives. You will ensure the seamless operation of various departments, drive growth initiatives, and represent Le Wagon in the local tech community.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Operational ManagementOversee the coordination and management of Marketing, Admissions, Outcomes, and Pedagogical Departments.Execute overall business objectives and ensure alignment across departments.Build and sign off on annual budgets and projections; manage these to meet or exceed targets.Administrative and Managerial ExcellenceImplement effective project management practices to ensure internal and external team projects are well mapped out, with timelines and deadlines consistently met.Serve as the key liaison between the Cape Town team and Honoris, ensuring clear and proactive communication.Enhance administrative processes to improve efficiency and productivity.Strategic Growth InitiativesConceptualize and implement growth initiatives to propel the business forward.Lead the rollout of new products, such as bootcamps, formats, or skills courses.Identify market gaps through research and understanding and develop strategies to address them.Community and Ecosystem EngagementFocus on building Le Wagon's standing in the local tech ecosystem by connecting with companies and individuals.Establish partnerships with key employers to ensure employability of students.Attend networking events to improve brand awareness and foster relationships within the tech community.Brand Representation and MarketingBe the primary face of the brand, embodying Le Wagon's values and mission.Co-create and execute the marketing plan alongside the marketing team.Work closely with the marketing team to generate leads and achieve set targets.Ensure satisfaction of students.Qualifications and Experience:A relevant Degree in IT / Management (Honours preferred)3+ years' experience in a managerial role, preferably within an educational or tech-related fieldStrong administrative and organizational skillsConnected to the local tech ecosystemNot afraid of doing operational tasksProject management experienceExtremely tech savvy with proven digital know-howYou must be sales oriented with a customer centric mindsetEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive growth and innovation.Ability to build and manage budgets effectively.Coding experience is an advantageBehavioural Attributes and Competencies:Fluent in English and have a mobile mindsetExcellent written & verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsYou are organised, rigorous and reliable with real attention to detailYou are outgoing, empathic and sociable, eager to present Le Wagon to the worldPassion for education and technology.If you feel that this role excites you, please apply.
