Job DescriptionFNB Connect and Service Provider is looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Chief Revenue Officer to join their team. The successful applicant will be required to align and optimize the entire customer experience with the aim of increasing revenue by holding a long-term perspective, understanding and embracing the differences between sales and marketing, and streamlining how these departments work together.
They will also be responsible for driving and enabling the cohesion between departments by placing the right tools, metrics, and strategies in place that will have a significant impact on revenue growth and will also be responsible for all activities that generate revenue by integrating and aligning marketing, sales, customer support, pricing, and revenue management.
Are you someone who can: Define and develop integrated sales strategies for different customer segments.Develop and communicate growth strategies with C-level executives and the board of directors and drive strategic relationships with relevant peers to enable optimization of the business value chain.Drive shareholder value through profitable and integrated frameworks, guidelines, and optimization plans.Ensure business strategy of area of accountability is adequately budgeted for to drive the financial performance of the business.Have a deep understanding of revenue funnels, data, and trends and use the data to draw insights and find innovative opportunities for growth and drive revenue targets and market share growth by identifying new markets, customer segments, products, and services.Set up and optimize the processes that contribute to revenue growth in all revenue-generating teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, Pricing, and Customer Success.Integrate sales and marketing as well as any other processes that maximize the returns on marketing investment.Apply a customer-centric approach that focuses on creating a positive experience for the customer by maximizing service and/or product offerings and building relationships.Ensure that the customer is at the center of the business philosophy, operations, and ideas.Maintain communication and relationships across organizational functions to work with different departments and manage revenue generation through those departments.Manage all revenue channel development and introduce new sales channels.Forecast revenue generation and the strategies required and plan accordingly.Develop, execute, and lead go-to-market sales and marketing strategies and work with large strategic enterprise accounts - high-tech, financial services, healthcare, insurers.Close large account deals in the above sectors initially with a view to growing the sales team and implementing a sales playbook.Recruit and scale the sales team; as well as set revenue targets for those in your team and create a culture of innovation.Manage your team's sales pipeline, ensuring the revenue generation model leads to sustainable growth.Develop a people development plan for area of accountability to support Business and Group strategies.Lead implementation of a performance management plan that optimizes delivery and builds a culture of recognition and fairness across the business area.Align own development to industry trends and development and influence development strategies of the business.Encourage, establish, and maintain strategic relationships across multiple functional areas to enable collaboration and knowledge sharing across functions.Demonstrate leadership by providing strategic direction, fostering high ethical standards in meeting Organizational vision and goals, and design and implement strategies that maximize employee potential.You will be an ideal candidate if you have: Relevant Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree6 – 8 years of experience in the Telecommunications and/or Banking sector.Great communication and influential skills.You will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborateChallenging work environmentOpportunities to innovateWe can be a match if you are: Curious & courageous - you're driven by always wanting to know more and learn more and you're brave enough to.Obsessed with mastery - you know what it takes to become good at what you do and are constantly pushing yourself to do it.Adaptable, curious, and willing to learn.Passionate about providing insights.Thrive in a collaborative environment.Are you interested in taking the step?
