Chief of Party - East London - Creative Associates InternationalCreative Associates International East London3 days agoJob Title:Chief of Party (COP)About the Role:Creative Associates seeks a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead a US government funded project in the Middle East.
The successful candidate will provide overall technical and administrative leadership for the project's activities and serve as the primary liaison with the donor and host governments.Main Responsibilities:Oversee the implementation of project activities, ensuring they meet stated goals, deliverables, and financial requirements;Supervise a diverse team to deliver impact within agreed timelines;Engage with key stakeholders, including civil society, government officials, and local partners;Identify and mitigate program risks, suggesting adjustments as needed;Produce research materials, training programs, and policy documents supporting peacebuilding efforts;Manage relationships with local partners and sub-recipients;Facilitate partnerships between local stakeholders and organizations;Provide technical guidance on community development projects.Requirements:An advanced degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences or development studies;At least 10 years of experience in international development, with 5 years in senior management roles leading USG-funded projects;Experience working in politically sensitive environments and enabling projects in West Bank and Gaza;Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and oversee M&E activities;Fluency in English is required; Arabic fluency is strongly preferred;Able to work in West Bank and Israel.About Creative Associates:Creative Associates International Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
