Assistant Accountant

Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant based in GqeberhaYour key responsibilities will be:Prepare and post standard journals for monthly management accountsPrepare VAT return and reconcile it and confirm inter-company balances with other branchesPrepare fixed costs and transport analysis for the General ManagerPrepare tax pack and upload on one sourceUpload financial statements on Hyperion / SMARTReconcile all ledger accounts using MS Excel by the 10th working day of the new monthComplete Stats SA manufacturing questionnaire and prepare petty cash file for the month for Financial ManagerUpload budget (yearly) and forecast (quarterly) onto HYPERION and prepare statutory notes on HYPERIONPerform any other ad hoc duties that may be required.Job Requirements:Good communication skillAttention to detail3-5 Years Finance experience in a computerized accounting environmentMust have a valid driver's licenceQualifications:Have a BCom Degree or BTech in Financial Accounting / Internal AuditingCIMA qualification and strong IT knowledge would be an added advantageShould you not receive any response within 2 weeks please consider your application unsuccessful.
