SALARY AND BENEFITS: R1.8mil – R2.5mil CTC p/a neg based on experience - Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package
DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS:
We are seeking an innovative Chief Marketing Officer to join a progressive and fast-growing financial services and fintech organization, currently expanding internationally. Operating at a strategic level and reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading marketing strategy, enhancing brand management, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all channels. As a member of the leadership team, you will be expected to identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand market reach and enhance service offerings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Business, Marketing or similar
Post grad qualification preferred, ideally an MBA
Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services or fintech industry
Strong digital understanding and data analytical capabilities
Proven ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
Experience in managing budgets and optimizing marketing spend
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strategic leadership to the marketing team, aligning marketing initiatives with overall business goals
Oversee brand management to ensure a consistent and compelling brand image
Enhance customer experience by implementing innovative and customer-centric marketing strategies
Develop and execute an omni-channel marketing strategy to ensure a seamless customer experience
Lead multi-channel and campaign marketing efforts, leveraging various platforms to reach target audiences
Drive digital marketing initiatives, utilizing data analytics to optimize campaigns and improve ROI
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape
Collaborate with product development teams to create effective go-to-market strategies for new products and services
