Chief Designer

Job Summary: Review project schedules, prepare project specific standards, and design instrument drawings.Key Responsibilities:Review project schedules with the Chief Instrument Engineer.Prepare project specific standards and job notes.Set up and operate DMS sections.Maintain a Drawing Index for Instrumentation Design Drawings.Design and prepare instrument drawings.Review and approve air distribution schedules and drawings.Review and comment on drawings for quality and standards.Comment on other discipline drawings where relevant.Review and approve instrument interface drawings.Produce instrument hook-up and installation drawings.Advise on slippages and proposed corrective action.
