Requirements
1-2 years' experience in a similar position in a luxury lodge environment
Food hygiene or Professional Cookery Qualification
Knowledge of dietary and religious requirements
Good knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control
Passion for food and personal growth within the company
Candidate needs to be self-motivated and versatile, display a 'go - team attitude' and understand that hard work comes with the territory.
Exposure to multiple sections in the kitchen.
Description
Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily preparations.
Ensure that all food is being prepared to the highest standards.
Willing to assist in all departments in a restaurant!!!
Ensure efficient work with the focus on completing the task within the time available and to the standard set.
Assisting with Stock control and month end procedures
Being able to thrive in a rural environment as well as work place.
