Channel SpecialistOur client in Stellenbosch is looking for a Channel Specialist to link consumer and shopper behaviour. The role involves delivering on the channel plan, building world-class campaigns and trade materials, managing planning systems, conducting briefing and training sessions, and supporting brands, accounts, and regions in planning and execution. Additionally, the Channel Specialist will monitor performance and build insights to provide feedback into the channel and category management plans.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and Influence:Shopper and consumer insightsActivation readiness and roll-outTrade spend and returnDevelop:A picture of a perfect store layout, with disruption points per categoryA commercial story which supports the perfect pictureGeneric merchandise catalogueCatalogue of touchpoints and comms channel per key accountPlan:Assist in building the annual channel plan down to account levelAssist in building the annual category management plan per accountSupport:Key account, brand, and regional planning and executionDesired Experience & QualificationCompleted MatricRelevant tertiary Degree / DiplomaChannel Management experience within FMCG / retail environment
