Chamber Choir Director (Part-Time)

This top performing girls' school is looking to replace experienced senior staff.  The following part-time (anticipated 1.5 hours per week) SGB-funded post is available from 01 January 2025: CHAMBER CHOIR DIRECTOR Applicants must: have experience in choral conducting and working with choral groups, especially female adolescent voices be able to rehearse with the choir Tuesdays from 16h30-18h00, as well as occasional rehearsals on Friday afternoons be willing to prepare the choir for eisteddfods, competitions and other school or external functions be prepared to accompany the choir on tours have the ability to work creatively with students Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview and will be taken on a tour of the school and expected to take a rehearsal with the current choir.  We reserve the right not to fill the posts. Rustenburg Girls' High School is committed to the principles of Employment Equity and to providing equal opportunities.
