Cdc Inventory Manager

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Central Distribution Center Inventory Manager to lead our receiving and inventory (Inbound) departments at Elandsfontein.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in improving stock accuracy across all business units, contributing to enhanced customer service and ensuring alignment with the companys strategic vision.
Purpose of the Job:
To manage and improve the efficiency of the inventory process, ensuring that stock management aligns with the companys goals.
This role involves leadership, people management, financial oversight, and continuous improvement of inventory processes.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12Degree or Tertiary Diploma in Warehousing and Logistics8 years of Stock Management experience, with 3 years in a managerial role5 years of experience in inbound logistics Key Responsibilities:
Oversee receiving processes and ensure accuracy in SAP capturingImprove stock accuracy through daily counts, monthly audits, and batch refillsMentor and train subordinates, and manage recruitment and training of new inventory employeesFinancial management including reporting on stock variance and reducing stock write-offsCollaborate with internal customers and ensure compliance with service level agreementsLead continuous improvement initiatives for stock management and accuracy Essential Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communicationStrong computer literacy (MS Office Suite & SAP)Proven people management and negotiation skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesCustomer-focused with a proactive and action-oriented approach
