Details of the offer

KPA:

Application of clinical knowledge in the risk management (financial and clinical) of patients in terms of Length of Stay, Level of Care, and medical aid benefits available.
Application of clinical knowledge in effective ICD 10 and CPT 4 coding of patient files.
Authorization / Releasing of final billing of patient files.
Updating of clinical information as per Netcare policy.
Daily liaison and communication with Medical Schemes, Hospital Nursing staff and medical practitioners.
Management of Per Diem accounts.

EDUCATION:

Registered Nurse / Staff nurse.
Minimum 4 years nursing experience in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
Intensive Care nursing experience is necessary.
Hospital or Medical Scheme Case Management an advantage.
Experience in ICD 10 and CPT 4 coding.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to maintain stable performance under pressure by handling stress in an acceptable way to personnel and the organization.
The ability to display a good customer-focus by developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
The ability to prioritize by managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed effectively and timeously. Able to work overtime as dictated by operational requirements.
The ability to produce work of a high-quality standard by accurately checking processes and tasks.
General administrative skills.
Computer literacy an advantage.
