Cartography / Programming Skills / Cad / Software Support

An exciting position is available working for a computer software company located in the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town. This is a junior position with growth opportunities. This is not a remote position.The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in programming as well as Cartography/Survey/CAD experience. They will support the development team in all aspects of a CAD software system. They will be required to liaise with senior management and excellent interpersonal skills are therefore required. The position is varied and would involve general client software support as well as conducting training courses. The candidate must have good computer literacy skills and have an aptitude to learn new software and applications. Ability to write concise tutorials and training material is a requirement.The candidate must be precise, ambitious, responsible, honest, self-motivated, reliable and hard working. The candidate must be a good listener. Importantly, the candidate must be task driven and must have an "out-of-the-box", "can do" approach to accomplishing goals. Good problem-solving abilities and the ability to learn new skills are important.
