Camp Manager | Ngala Game Reserve | Luxury Lodge Group
We are currently looking for experienced CAMP MANAGER to join the team of a luxury lodge located in Ngala Private Game Reserve.
KEY OUTPUTS:
Prepare welcome and departure notes for guests
Check guests in during the day and manage dietaries, or any other special requests
Meet all guests, check-ins, check outs, hosting guests and site-inspections
Ensuring all organizational requirements around delivering a guest experience at the lodge is planned for and executed on a daily basis
Ensure our brand standards are always maintained in all areas that make up the guest experience
Represent the company's brand in appearance and behaviour
Create an environment where the company's culture & DNA is fostered
Innovate new ideas and ways to edge the brand and improve
Guest Delight- Both in the bush and at the lodge. To be able to plan, action and create guest delights
Check set ups for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Make sure the main area is always tidy and styled to the BOPs
Host guests at mealtimes and check smooth running of service from the kitchen and butler
Work closely with butlers and Lodge managers to maintain a high service standard
Willingness to assist the Lodge Manager and Assistant Lodge Manager with monthly stock takes and any stock orders that need to be done
Assisting with general administrative work, including guest Bills, day sheets and gratuities
Assisting with General Management of Stock Control and ensuring stock is issued correctly
Keep open communication with all departments and allow information to run through freely
Help Assistant Lodge Manager with Lodge Operations when Lodge manager goes on leave
Checking Arrival Rooms and ensuring it is to standard before guests arrive
Assist with the Safari Shop when required

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (QUALIFICATIONS OR TRAINING PROGRAMS):
At least 2 years relevant experience in a 5-star operation
Managerial experience key
Valid unendorsed SA driver's license essential
PANstrat Knowledge beneficial
MS office knowledge essential
SKILLS REQUIRED:

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staff
Experience in a 5 star establishment is advantageous
Managerial experience
