Company DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Call Centre Coordinator Operations.The purpose of the Call Centre Co-ordinator is to manage Adhoc and urgent work requests for all tasks pertaining to the plant as well as all incoming general, emergency or any safety-related issues.Job DescriptionAs our Call Centre Coordinator Operations, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Attend to all incoming calls and all verbal requests.Capture all notifications within the SAP PM platform.Assess whether the notification is of an urgent nature using a risk matrix.Report all urgent matters to the RRT Foreman and Shift Supervisor.Convert notifications in SAP PM to work orders on approval of RRT Foreman/Shift Supervisor.Capture information to generate informative reports on callouts and execute tasks.Order/contact necessary resources specified by the Shift Supervisors/team members.Print created urgent work orders.Release notifications in SAP for adhoc work awaiting approval/cancellation.Oversee confirmation of all urgent work orders in SAP.Place reservations for materials when notifications are urgent.Create purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders for materials or parts from the store.Adhere to adhoc requests from your direct Supervisor and the Shift Coordinator.Generate and maintain reports as established by your direct supervisor.Adhere to all safety and health standards and promote good housekeeping.Perform effective general office administration tasks.Participate in safety initiatives.Order and process overtime meals as required.Report and log events and activities during shift operations.Assist with calls that do not pertain to the Plant or notification process.Adhere to all shift hand-over procedures.Evaluate requests according to OM requirements.Prioritise urgent work in coordination with relevant personnel.Devise better work practices with the Shift Coordinator and Engineering Call Centre Co-ordinator.Address escalation issues regarding urgent work execution.Liaise with RRT Supervisors about urgent work requests.Create urgent 45-order numbers for contractors/Technical Personnel after hours.Assist the Call Centre Clerk with capturing mandatory information on job cards.Assist with requests in line with OM and business requirements.Ensure open communication with Plant Maintenance and Operators regarding material ordering.Communicate lightning system deviations to the sections.Adhere to all business, OM, and Call Centre Standards and procedures.This role is in the Operations (OPS) department on a band 8 level reporting to the Section Manager Discipline Planning.QualificationsGrade 12 Certificate / N3 TechnicalSA Drivers LicenceTechnical Knowledge2 – 3 Years' experience within a plant operational environment.MS Office Suite, relevant SAP experience.Understanding of the Urgent Work Matrix.Knowledge of equipment components and functionality.Understanding of Call Centre Functioning, RRT Teams, and supply Chain systems.Familiarity with company policies and procedures.Additional InformationAnglo American is an equal opportunities employer.
