Cable Repairer

Mission:
Epiroc Electrification Solutions (EES) is leading the charge to electrify the underground hard rock mining industry. With solutions such as battery electrical vehicles, chargers, and other infrastructure products, we are expanding our capabilities and our vision to promote a circular economy by offering trailing cable repairs to the industry.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Provide trailing cable repairs to the required Epiroc and Customer standards for Quality
Report writing and assessment of Trailing Cable Condition
Managing of Orders Received and backorders
Supporting Service Administrators with the development of Quotations for Cable Repair work
Liaise with clients on work in progress at the direction of the Cable Repair Supervisor
Support other EES Functions of the business when required
Travel to site for on-site cable repairs
Work Overtime as and when required
Ensure repair and manufacturing work on-time, within budget and to meet the relevant Quality and Safety Standards
Adhere to Epiroc Code of Conduct
Adhere to Epiroc and site-specific safety regulations
Submission of timesheets and utilization of 85% billable hours

Interpersonal skills to work with customers and suppliers and to work as part of the Technical Support team
Selling technical skills
Be able to work independently without supervision
Be presentable to customers in grooming and dress code
Be able to manage and prioritise workload and backorders
Code 10 Drivers License

Educational Qualification:

Grade 12
Technical qualification (Electrician/Millwright)
Experience on underground TMM equipment.
