The Role:As a C&I Engineer, you will support the design, installation, and maintenance of control and instrumentation systems across the mining operation. This role involves working with various automation systems, sensors, and control technologies to ensure smooth and efficient mining processes. Youll collaborate with experienced engineers to troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure the reliability of these critical systems.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of control systems and instrumentation for mining equipment.Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of automation and control systems to ensure operational efficiency.Monitor and optimize the performance of instrumentation and control systems to enhance reliability and safety.Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure integration between control systems and mining equipment.Perform system diagnostics and resolve control-related issues promptly.Participate in the development of technical documentation, reports, and compliance with industry standards.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all C&I activities.Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.Basic knowledge of control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation technologies.Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Siemens, Rockwell, or ABB systems.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards within industrial or mining environments is advantageous.Willingness to work on-site in remote mining locations, if required.Apply now!
