Description Processing of transactions in line with the National Treasury Act and ARC policies and procedures. Review of specification and advise end users/business unit. Processing of purchase requisitions by issuing of request for quotation (RFQ) to suppliers. Keep RFQ register up to date. Evaluation of quotations together with end-user/business unit. Prepare score sheets and evaluation reports. Present evaluation report to the Institute Bid adjudication Committee (IBAC). Issuing of orders to suppliers for deliveries. Follow up on open orders. Provide feedback to business unit on Purchase requisition and order status. Ensure proper record keeping. Attend on all queries related to SCM.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree/B Com/National Diploma in Supply Chain Management (SCM) specifically in Sourcing, Supply Management or Purchasing Management. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the Supply chain management or similar environment. Knowledge, experience and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) and related legislation. Demonstrate understanding of communication between end users, SCM, Finance and service providers and importance of providing feedback on progress. Computer literacy and proficiency in the MS Office suite. Exposure to SAGE system. Good analytical skills, report writing and organisational skills.
